MADPANDA3D founder Leo Lara was born in Hollywood, Florida, and raised in Broward County. The company came later, after a path through military service, telecom infrastructure, cloud engineering, and hands-on technical work.

Four years in the Marine Corps.
Leo served as an Aircraft Rescue Firefighter with MWSS-172 in Okinawa, Japan. When that chapter ended, the next direction was not yet clear.
Telecom gave the next chapter direction.
An interest in infrastructure led Leo into telecom as a Tiger Team Technician supporting T-Mobile, handling emergency response and break/fix work. That work continued across Missouri and Illinois in the St. Louis area, then led to Columbus and an AWS engineering role that lasted nearly two years.

The first build made the company tangible.
An Anycubic Kobra 2 Pro turned a long-running 3D idea into a working first lane. MADPANDA3D became an LLC during the first week of January 2024, built around 3D design and early commissions.
The drive to see how far the work could go expanded that first lane. Web development led to Linux, then cybersecurity school and a degree path in network defense. A growing homelab became the place to test networks, infrastructure, and new tools firsthand.

After nearly two years with AWS, Leo moved full time into MADPANDA3D and built the infrastructure needed to fully launch the company.
